Wedding FAQs

Where are you based?
I’m based in Poole, Dorset.

Which areas do you cover?
I play at all sorts of events throughout Dorset, The New Forest, Hampshire and Wiltshire.

Can we meet you?
Absolutely.  I offer a free 30 minute consultation for all couples getting married.
If you don’t live locally I’m happy to use Skype or FaceTime to talk through your requirements and to play you the harp.

How much will it cost?
This depends on which parts of the wedding you want me to play for. Prices for weddings start from £225.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes. I require a non-refundable 50% deposit. The rest is payable on the day of your wedding.

How do I book you?
The best way to book me is to either give me a ring or to fill in the contact form. Make sure that you include the date and location of your wedding so that I can supply you with an accurate quote. If I’m available and you’re happy with everything I will send over a booking form to confirm the booking.

Do you charge for travelling?
My quote will include any travel expenses.

Do you play outside?
Yes. My harps are perfectly happy outside, as am I.

Can you fit in with my colour scheme?
I have a selection of dresses in different colours to fit in with your colour scheme.

Will you learn a song for us?
Definitely. It’s your special day right down to the exact pieces of music that you want to be played.

Will the harp fit in the venue?
Harps don’t take up that much space. Sometimes a larger harp won’t fit up a very narrow staircase for instance, but I have a smaller portable celtic harp that can fit in any venue!

Do you need help getting the harp into the venue?
Sometimes a helping hand is great, but I’ve got loading and unloading my harp down to a fine art.
