Piano Lessons

The piano is a great instrument to learn because it’s so versatile and practical. It suits all ages and abilities, from young children just starting out to adults who want to learn for the first time or get back into music. You can play any style of music on piano – classical, pop, jazz, or whatever you enjoy listening to. It’s also brilliant for understanding how music works, and the skills you learn transfer well to other instruments if you decide to branch out later.

I’ve developed a patient, encouraging approach that adapts to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I have extensive experience working with neurodivergent students and understand that everyone learns differently. With 15 years of teaching experience, I make piano lessons engaging and fun, especially for younger children where I include lots of activities to work on rhythm and note reading.

Piano lessons are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions on weekdays and in the evenings to fit around school and work schedules. I can advise on instruments – you don’t need an acoustic piano to start, a good digital piano or keyboard is fine.
